Hey Guys,

So I'm practicing open chord switches by using a metronome to keep in time and to slowly train my fingers to switch faster. I've been using simple 3 Chord melodies to practice with so at least when I practice, it sounds good.

So far I have been practicing D-G-A-D, D-A-E-D, and C-Am-G-C.

Do you guys have any other simple three chord melodies that are in the same key to practice with?

Just add one more to your chords - F - and you have House of the Rising Sun.

Am C D F

Am C E E

Am C D F

Am E Am E

Dazed and Confused.

G-D-C leads to a lot of fun songs (Knockin' on Heaven's Door, Semi-Charmed Life, 3 Little Birds to name a few)

G Cadd9 D for Greenday's 'Time of your Life'

G-D-Em-C is 'No Woman No Cry' & 'Let it Be'

Em G D A you've got 'Wonderwall' (capo 2) & 'Boulevard of Broken Dreams' (capo 1)
