Though Steely Dan was one of those bands that you love or hate, I was in the 'love' catagory. Given all the great guitar players filtering through that band (Carlton/Skunk Baxter etc), Becker was overshadowed by them. but if you'd ask Fagan, he'd said clearly that his favorite guitarist was always Becker.
