Just wanted to give a shoutout to my fellow guitar players....love Guitar Tricks, great instructional stuff....

I am 40 something, play everything from metal to outlaw country to rock, but mostly on a metal kick these days.

My favorite guitar player of all time is Tony Iommi, but I love anyone on guitar that captures my attention. Even beginners interest me.

I play Jackson and I just ordered an Ibanez Prestige RG fixed tail online for payments. I play cheaper Martin Acoustic guitars.

I like songwriting, learning guitar, especially video learning.

If any members are from ABQ or anywhere ever want to team up on casual recording or anything else, let me know, I am super friendly.

I am toying the idea of starting a video blog of 100 days of learning or something like that. I'd probably include a review of Guitar Tricks, where I would for sure give the site a big thumbs up. Most of the videos are easy to follow and a great value.

I was paying 100 a month in lessons, and while teacher was super cool and improved my playing, his lessons could never come as close as Guitar Tricks. The content is amazing, and I can rewind, loop and slow down, and those are critical tfor my short term memory loss learning capabilities.

Anyway, enough about me.

I hope everyone learns a ton, music is the greatest and most interesting hobby to me, without it my life is a lot greyer.
