Dime's Tone

Ive been listening to my old Pantera Cowboys from Hell cd a lot lately, and im still appalled by Dimebag Darells amazing solos on that record. I was just wondering if anyone know like what kind of effects he uses to get some of those doubling effects on songs like Cowboys from Hell and many others. Also, maybe some amp setting or something like that. Thanks
