Having done endless courses I have been told to try this one, best by far it has been recommended.

I've played serious for about 5 years.

I know all open chords, E shaped barre chords, strumming patterns, some theory, blues scales, alternate picking, using the metronome for timing and reading tab.

Hope this helps

Thanks and hi to everyone

I'm a very confused, 50 year old guitarist.

Bob

Hi, Bob!

I recommend you start from the very first beginning which is Guitar Fundamentals 1. When I joined GT here, I had more or the less a similar knowledge as yours, but I figured I could use a refresher, and also I might be doing something wrong, or I have the wrong idea about a certain aspect. So I started from the beginning and I really am happy I did so. It was really beneficial for me, and reminded me of a lot of things. Plus, the instructors are amazing!

Rock on!

Hi bobwatt1967,

As Jasim said, the best place to start is in Guitar Fundamentals I if you're a brand new beginner to guitar.

From what you've said, I thnk you already have the Fundamentals down pat so I don't anticipate you sticking around those sections for long. Once the fundamentals are done, you can jump into any of the more advanced styles of Rock, Country or Blues.

Go here:https://www.guitartricks.com/experienced.php and pick any of the styles you want to learn and jump in.
