Hi All,

I've been playing on and off for 20 years, never got serious, enough to play a few tunes after some beers. Tried taking lessons a few years ago and didn't like the method (I wanted theory lessons and the instructor wanted to teach songs). I've, within the last few months been using guitar tricks to really learn how to play. My playing has improved greatly since actually putting the effort in to learn.

Playing after a few beers is THE ONLY WAY TO PLAY GUITAR. Ha, only half joking there. Really glad you're learning and enjoying the site. Feel free to chime in on these forums and don't be shy!
