Hello from the HQ!

wzekus1979, it's good to have you hear in the Guitar Tricks community. Your son's desire to play guitar is something I can relate with, at least in an inverse way. You were inspired by your son's willingness to learn guitar, while I was inspired by my father's guitar playing. My dad had always been able to play a few licks and chords, and then one day we went out and came back with a little Squier Strat and a 30 watt amp. It was sweet.

From what you've said here, I'm confident that you will make steady progress but remember to have a ton of fun and don't ever feel discouraged if you're not making the progress you want. Learning an instrument and learning how to play music is like learning a language, and that takes time and a ton of practice.

Looking forward to hearing your progress!

Best,

Billy
