I have the Tascam as well......it's not enough that we need to work hard on our chops and theory and get creative and write out (tab) original song ideas as well...........we also need to master or at least get proficient and set up our own little recording studios.......these Tascams (I have the DP-008) do take out quite a bit of the mystery or struggle but since I used to always have the old Mini Studio Tascam with cassettes........which were bulky and disorganized.......I could at least keep "track" on what I've already recorded and separate.......I keep over dubbing on recordings with the DP-008. I could use a better tutorial or at least tips on how to use this thing like a no big deal tool it's supposed to be......and I'm certain it is!! Jim C.
