Hello everyone,

I received an email regarding the flash sale for the Guitar On-The-Go package. I was wondering if the content of the courses can already be found on GuitarTricks.com since I'm subscribed as a "full access"member.

Are the backing tracks included in the "guitar on the go" package the ones found on the guitartricks song library? More importantly, will my full access to guitartricks allow me to make us of the "chord theory magic course" and the "guitar intuition course". Or are these courses separate from the core learning system?

JJ

Hi everybody. In regards to the sale and the contents of the sale, it's true, the items you get from the sale sometimes are offered as a free gift when you originally sign up for Guitar Tricks Full Access. As I'm typing this, Chord Theory Magic is the free gift for new sign ups.

The Guitar on the Go flash sale not only has Chord Theory Magic, but it also has all of the backing tracks to jam to (120 tracks in total), as well as Guitar Intuition that helps you play by ear, and the Songwriter's Toolbox all bundled together for the ultimate addition to your guitar learning.

I hope that answers your question.

-Billy

1.) Aren't the tracks available in the Jam Station (found in the Toolbox)?

2.) Where would Chord Theory Magic be found on the website for Full Access students?

So the other courses listed in the pack aren't available for Full Access students?....

In that case, is there "previews" of the stuff on offer instead of just a "Wall of text" description so students can get a better feel of what's on offer?.....

Happy to help answer those other questions.

1 - No, the jam tracks in this package aren't in the Jam Station.

2 - If you signed up for Full Access when Chord Theory magic was the bonus gift, you should have gotten an email with instructions. If you didn't (or you want it re-sent), just sent an email to customer service and they can do that for you: admin@guitartricks.com

Here's a desctiption of the audio courses in Guitar On The Go:

Chord Theory Magic:[br]Chord Theory Magic is an educational audio program that unravels the mystery behind basic chords and major keys, specifically as they work on the guitar.

An understanding of chord theory is the secret ingredient that enables guitarists to play by ear, figure out how to play songs on their own, jam and improvise, transpose songs from one key to another, and write their own songs and chord progressions.

Through listening and visualization exercises, you will gain an understanding of how major and minor chords are constructed, and how they work together within a key to form songs. Surprisingly simple and systematic, this knowledge can open new and exciting doors in your guitar playing.

Song Builder's toolbox:[br]The Song Builder’s Toolbox is a Modular Audio-Learning Program. Each section (or module) is packed with information about an important aspect of songwriting. Most sections end with recommended listening-and-analyzing activities, and/or hands-on homework assignments.

Guitar Intuition:[br]Guitar Intuition is an educational audio program designed to exercise the intuitive side of your musical brain, allowing you to develop a deeper "gut-level" understanding of music and your guitar. It is a Right Brain approach to learning, focused on developing a holistic and natural feel for your instrument.

Hope that helps!

I purchsed and downloaded the backing tracks. However, the tracks are just numbered and it is not clear which track goes to which song. I have asked for some clarification on this. I downloaded this for those rare occasions when I don't have a connection to the web.

Hi Urban Cowboy,

The backing tracks are generic jam tracks you can play along with. They aren't taken from any particular song, which is why they're numbered like that.

I hope that clears it up.

What is the format of the audio? The link refers to 'Download', does this mean I can just add it to iTunes? If not, how will it be available?

Thanks,

Willie
