I'm a huge tab collector (I have about three 2 1/2 inch binders full of them), and I'm always searching around the 'net for more.

My huge complaint, though, is the lack of tabulature for certain bands/songs, and, when I do find them, they're frequently incomplete, inaccurate, or just plain wrong.

I am positive that the patrons of GuitarTricks have a tons of tabs as well, and that they are accurate.

I would like to ask if it would be feasible for GuitarTricks to host a tabulature page. I would be more than willing to submit my tabs (at least the good ones) to the database. I would assume that it wouldn't take up too much server space, what with tabs being purely text and all.

What do you (esp. Jon) think?

I don't really want to get into the legal trouble of hosting full song tabs.

Guitar Tricks complies with U.S. copyright law in that

1. our purpose is study
2. we only use part of a song, not the whole work

This way, we are not likely to be harrassed and shut down like OLGA.

Maybe someone can recommend a good tab site where we can post our tabs?
