that almost every idea that is brought up ends with foolish argument about something comletely different?
for exaple the end of "squiers are expansive":
- #@$%^& you if you can't take a joke.
- no i mean your caps, i dont think anybody likes a screamer, but hey since you said funk you, then funk you too.
- Caps? What dif does it make? I didn't say funk.
- you cap'd your other message before, which is disrespectful to both the eye and to the reader- example;

HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF I TYPED LIKE THIS FOREVER?

; and so on.

Actually, I find that most stuff gets treated as seriously as the original post deserves. The ditzoid mudslinging session you refer to started out as a ludicrous piece of crap, and went downhill from there.

Most serious questions tend to get serious replies, even if some threads tend to wander off a bit after the initial question has been dealt with. Of course, discussions of a religious or political nature get kind of raucous, but then, I'd be suprised if they didn't!

haha hey! most of those were mine! well first i just wanted to see if 'funk you' would get edited; plus, who says "#@!@$ you if you cant take a joke" to a post about his own stupidity, real or fake? all i wanted to tell him is that he shouldnt use caps all the time, and why he all blew up at me. verstanden?

in either

open forum
guitar basics
music theory

in each of them i believe there is at least one moderator that has 2 different subjects that he moderates....which would still make him a moderator, just less work.

just a thought :D

You do realise though that if you were a moderator of, say, the theory section, you wouldn't be able to edit stuff in the open forum, therefore not allowing you to edit locomotive breath's posts (which probably isn't such a bad thing...) By the way, I must be getting old, but half of the time I never even understand where half of these insults come from. Suddenly someone just says something really wierd, and off it goes. Oh well, it can be fun to read, sort of.

Sometimes that is true, but only when the people you are referring to are not normal. The human race thrives on violence and hatred. Without it people seem to get bored. I love arguing and fighting, but I like it as a joke, never serious, although most people always take it seriously!
