I'm new here and wanted to tell a little bit about myself. When I was 18 years old I took a few lessons on the guitar but soon gave up.That was a long time ago because I'm 86 now.

I decided to give it another try so I bought an acoust guitar about 6 weeks ago. They say that you are never too old to learn. Well--I'll soon find out. I feel that I can get some good help here. Frank

A very warm welcome to you Frank.

No, you are never too old to learn. Well done for starting to learn guitar.

The lessons on here are very good as I'm sure you will agree. They take you forward quite gently.

I'm 72 and started a few weeks ago. It was a good decision for me.

Looking through the forum will give you lots of tips and you can see how various difficulties can be tackled.

I wish you all the best in your endeavours.

Joe

Thank for your response, Joe. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one here who has just past being a teen ager. :-)

Yes, Frank, this seems to be well populated with the over the hill group -- if you remember that movie. Since I'm only 76, it's nice to see someone more mature here. Have fun and good luck in your endeavor.
