hey guys,
talkin about tapping might be gettin boring, but i serously hav no clue. I've only been playing for about 3 months, but i can play some nice riffs, the knockin on heavens door solo, most of sweet child of mine, and a lot of other beginner type stuff. I cudnt find an instructor, so i was hopin the pros here cud help?
Where can I get a step by step tapping technique guide, and also some beginner tabs for some cool tapping?
My guitar is a strat copy by aria, with the regular pickups, and an amp that isnt up to much. Am i gonna need some upgrades to get a good sound?
Also, are there any excercises I can do to help improve my speed?
Any help is appreciated.
Cheers,

Ade

Tapping excersises can be found all over this site. I even bought a book on tapping. I didn't use it much but what I got from it helped me a lot.
As for your gear, dont worry about it. When you practice your tapping excersises, use a clean tone. Remember, accuracy is more important that speed. Once you have your tapping licks down with no buzzing and with nice even timing, then speed up and add distortion.
If you want some excersises e mail me. My adress is in my profile.
