Hi everyone

[br]I'm a fairly new player (2 years so far) but haven't progressed very much due to a serious lack of practise time!

Guitar tricks is propelling me forward faster than I could have hoped and god knows where I would be without it!

I don't know about anyone else, but very early on I have realised I am a massive gear head and find myself spending more time looking at new guitars and different amps and pedals than I do playing (partly because I can watch youtube while clearing up after my 2 children!) is this the same for anyone else?

Also I feel a bit lost. I look at some players and I don't know how I will ever get as good as them. I don't know where to begin. Am I alone?

Sam

No, me too. Looking at and buying gear helps motivate me. A wee book or a new guitar "gadget" can get me playing with a new sense of purpose. :-)

I love looking at Gibsons and PRS guitars with their lovely quilted tops but can't justify spending that much given my ability!!!
