Hello I have just been on the Jazz guitar course, not very impressed, there are no diagrams to show how to fret the cords, there should be diagrams on the screen, please add diagrams on screen, what do you all think about my post !

When you're in the lesson, such as the Diminished 7th lesson, when you click on the Notation tab, is the notation not what you're looking for?

I reviewed about a dozen of the lessons listed under Jazz Guitar and some of the Jazz Songs. Each of 'em had tabs and notation which, if selected, show under the video as it runs.

Hey there! :)[br]

That's why there are courses on some genres (blues, country, rock), but not others. Having said that, I do have some jazz material & songs!

If you already know the basics & have a competent level of playing ability, then you can use this list of tutorials I assembled to work through learning the basics of jazz guitar.

I think the only GT lessons with on screen notation are in the Core Learning System courses. Most of our tutorials do not have on screen notation. However, all of our tutorials do have notation on the same web page below the screen so you can open it up in a separate browsing window.

Having said that, I prefer not having the notation on screen because:

1. It clutters the screen real estate.

2. The student is supposed to be watching the instructors hands! :)

IMO, it's better to watch the video, then study the notation, then look at your own guitar strings & hands. Back & forth as necessary as you learn. You can only look at so much stuff at the same time & really focus on it.

[quote=jasvirlota] ... its a rip-off, if guitars tricks are reading this please add diagrams on screen

I'm sorry you think it's a rip off. We do have a 60 day money back guarantee, so you might be able to contact support@guitartricks.com to get your money back.

Hope this helps! Please ask more if necessary. Best of success. :)

If I ever get the chance to redo those tutorials I'll keep your suggestions in mind, thanks!
