tapping is playing notes with your right hand directly on the fretboard. There's a motion that keeps the string moving, so you don't have to pluack the string anymore. Here's the most famous tapping lick

It's very simple real. You can only feel something by touching it... not looking at it. So there is no way you could know while ur not touching something it feels the same way it always has. So therefore water isn't wet until you touch it.

So what your telling us is that the tree doesn't make a sound when it falls in the forest even if no one is around to hear it?

We should make this a philosophy thread insted of a thread about tapping.

stop all these matrix stuff
if you want my philosophy here it is:
"you" do not exist.
"i" i mean my "body" does not exist too.
all there is, all that will be, all that has been is my mind "you" are nothing but my own imagination.
"you" don't have minds "you" are all faces of "me"
since "i" am everything "i" don't belong to one "body" "i" am all.
God sent meat,
and the Devil sent cooks.

I say the tree makes a sound! haha
but what is tapping anyway?
Perhaps i'll go look it up on the web page. It's no doubt described there.

how does that make sense?
does the tree make silence when it hits the ground? The breaking branches and the big thud no longer go crash and boom because no one is there to hear it? Whether or not someone is there to hear the sounds, the vibrations are still made.
