Hey guys,

I'm French and living in the Netherlands. I play the keyboards since I'm at kid, and the drums casually since 10 years ago maybe (I don't have a kit at the moment though, planning of buying a Roland TD-25 next year).

I've always wanted to learn the guitar, especially since I mainly listen to rock and metal.

This is my 3rd attempt at doing this :D Every time, I buy a guitar, I start learning it, and I give up and just sell the guitar...

I think the reasons are that I like learning everything by myself, and for the guitar it's more difficult and painful at the beginning than the piano or the drums. Another reason is that I'm playing way less music now than earlier in my life, so I also have less motivation. And I need to balance this with work and my other hobbies (video games, reading, etc.).

I had the idea to buy a DVD set to motivate and help me learning the guitar. Then I found an online review saying that this site was a better format than any method you could find.

So far the beginner lessons are great, and I love the tools and big song library that you have. I got advantage of the offer with the free acoustic guitar. I already have an Ibanez RG421EX guitar which was taking the dust.

Cheers!
