It sounds like you have a very specific idea of what you want out of playing at this point. If you know what you want to play then I would recommend that you attempt to play/replicate it. You've got the rhythm, timing and chord progressions of the songs you like? If so then I'd focus on doing entire songs that you like. Do your own cover. Lay down a backing track with simple drums or just a click track in something like garage band. Do the rhythm track and then figure out the solo. It's good for your technique, ear, timing and helps you with theory. Learning in this way keeps up with the pace you learn and it gives you the opportunity to focus on your weakest areas as you are doing everything in the song. At least it has worked well for me. If it proves to be too difficult, then default back to basic lessons on the site here. Good luck. :)
