This is for anyone to answer. It's Thansgicving so I don't imagine GT staff will answer, however, I am wondering about the solo lick on Folsom Prison. When I listen to it as performed by Johnny Cash and play along, it starts on the B string at the 9th and 10th frets, and then its a 9, 12 9 12 9 etc. That being said, I see that most are using a half step lower and starting it with 8th and 9th frets. Why does it seem to sound off when using 8th and 9th frets and it doesnt match what I hear on Johnny Cash playing it? Was he playing 8th and 9th frets but actually had a capo on the first fret? If thats true, then my using 9th and 10 frets makes sense without a capo!! Let me know. Thanks
