I dunno if this commercial aired outside of Toronto, Canada, but a high-speed internet service provider (Sympatico - Bell Canada) had a commercial that showed people all over the world logging on to a website and they started jamming; a drummer, a guitarist, trumpeteer, singer, etc. I just automatically assumed that this was made up by Bell, but from the first post, it seems as if it is possible. I just thought it wasn't possible because of the delay from the internet as well as the fact that you would need some really loud speakers hooked up to your sound card to rival your guitar amp's volume.

So is this really possible? If so, that's pretty cool.
