I am about to move away during the week and want to play but will have to do it through headphones and through a laptop so I don't disturb house mates / neighbours.

Any recommendations for interfaces and useability with the guitar tricks lessons at the same time? From the latest magazine Scarlett gear looks possible. Any ideas?

Any interface should work fine as long as you make sure it's compatible with your computer & OS. Most of these systems connect via USB.

I haven't used the Scarlett, but it looks like as good a solution as most in that price range. I've tried Amplitube, Line 6 & Focusrite. They are all good quality.

Hope this helps! Best of success with it!

I have a boss multi effects and use the Boss Tone studio software. Works great.
