The D'Angelico would be a good choice. I own a Bowery 500 Dreadnought with spruce top and rosewood sides and back. It's a nice sounding axe and a very playable guitar for not a lot of money invested. It also comes with Fishman electronics if you have the need to plug in.

Fishman Electronics include a built in Tuner as well. Great price at 50% off. Reg. $999 on sale for $499. I hope it is as nice as the reviews say it is.
