I teach been playing 30 years but you know what? It never stops ... the learning! Been semi pro (my advice is keep a day job, treat music as a passion and paying hobby unless you are extremely dedicated). A gig or 2 a week is plenty for me any more I have no time to practice and I get lazy! Heaps of good players out there and I know I get into ruts. Self taught but took some short cuts on finding.
