With regard to CHRISTOPHER SCHLEGEL's lesson on changing strings, the word for making strings tight is TAUT, not TAUNT. Same pronunciation as taught, as in "the teacher taught a lesson..." Why has no one ever been kind enough to point that out to him?

I think this comment is completely out of order. Mr Schlegel is on GT to teach us the guitar, not spelling. And he's an excellent teacher who goes to immense trouble for us. Who gives a damn how he pronounces the word 'taut' ?

Consider it pointed out! Thanks for the clarification. I do appreciate it. I'll make sure to use the correct pronunciation in the future.
