Hi there,
In my 40's, I just leaped into learning guitar.
Well... I love my family too much so I wanted to get a silent guitar! Yamaha has some nice ones with nylon or steel strings.
I like the sound of both but realy no idea which way to go. I believe me biggest concern is choosing the easiest one to start playing with.
Can you give me a word of advise here?
Thanks

I understand your concern about volume. Nylon string classical guitars are often quieter than steel string acoustic guitars. But for that matter, an electric with a little amp that has headphones, or even a computer or phone app with headphones is even quieter!

You are correct to be primarily concerned with ease of playability. The only way to make sure a guitar is comfortable for you to handle is to try them out. There's no subsititute for hold the machine your hands. And it's always great to have a good excuse to visit your local music store & try out all the guitars!

Best of success!
