Hello I am 45 and just started learning guitar. I am starting with GF1. I am on the first song, Walk Downtown been trying to learn it for a few days. I can make the chord changes and keep rhythm with the song. Having a problem with strumming the correct strings. It should be G,B,E but I sometimes strike D,G,B,E or B,E. Should I move onto to the second song in the lesson and keep practicing strumming or stay with this song and get strumming perfect?

Hello and welcome! You are starting in the right place with going ahead with GF1. The system is supposed to guide you through some basics, until eventually you build up enough skill to move forward. The fun part about it is you can always skip forward and go back. As many times as you want!
So if you want advice, while it's always best to practice and stay on path, there isn't any harm in moving forward. Some folks like smaller steps than others. You are the judge of your own pace, so skip ahead and see how you fare, then go back if it's too soon. Overtime it will get better no matter what - as long as you continue to play!
