I did a review of the Fender T-Bucket a few years back. Good guitar for the money. In all, after having it for several years, still a good guitar and has nicely maintained its set-up. So, reliable.

One thing I would clarify, which I hinted at in the review; it's not a $2000 guitar. It's an inexpenseive guitar with a laminated top. It is not a super-mellow warm guitar but it has a great sound for a laminante. The body depth is a bit chubby but that does help with the sound, I feel.....Last thing; I really do not like the onboard tuner. When I did my review, I thought it was decent and it does do in a pinch bit overall....bring the Snark along.

Key is, the person playing needs to go play whatever it is they're getting. Even if to just wrap their hands around the neck and feel if the body depths is comfortable.

I got the T-Bucket to have a decent acoustic but not break the bank. It does that. I do have and have had in the past, nice guitars that weren't exactly cheap and have no fear of spending for one. I just needed something to plunk on and demo with. Nothing serious but playable.

Keep this stuff in mind when in the sub-$300 range.
