problem with stage 160

hey i was playin today and i started hearing a crackling noise coming from my stage 160 then when i stopped playing it turned into a loud buzzing noise that ive never heard from it before so i turned it off and back on as soon as it came back on it started buzzing again not like a normal buzz it was loud it sounded electrical any ideas on what it could be by the way its not grounded but its never done that before

Crackling and buzzing are alot of times connection problems, but do yourself a favor, read the thread below on grounding, and get your amp properly grounded before your friends hear you making crackling noises, it's no joke, one bad experience can be your last!.....................
