IN IT A 60 FOR THE NECK WHICH SOUNDS REALLY GOOD WHEN I PLAY CLEAN STUFF BUT WHEN I KICK IN THE DISTORTION IT HAS TO MUCJ LOW END ON IT REAL BASSY AND I GOT AN 81 FOR THE BRIDGE U PEOPLE KNOW THAT THE 81 IS THE KING OF ALL BRIDGE PICK UPS SO I WAS WONDERING IF THE E.M.G 85 HAS A REAL GOOD CLEAN SOUND AND A HIGH END SOUND WHEN DISTORTED OR ANY OTHER PICK UP LET ME NOW RIGHT AWAY BY THE WAY ITS FOR A CHARRVEL/JACKSON

The low end bassy sound of the neck p/u you are hearing is probaly caused not by the type of p/u you have, but caused by it's distance from the bridge, you could put a bridge p/u in the neck position and it would do the same thing, alot of people used to refer to the neck p/u as the "bass" p/u, hmmmm.... I wonder why they did that? Don't fight against design, you'll just get tired and spend alot of money in the process.........

try the BILL LAWRENCE L500. its the pick up thats on washburn's nuno bettencourt series and dimebag darrell series. man that pick up can scream. its hard to get a clean sound though, just decrease volume on the guitar to go clean
