I've been using Amplitube. Love it. Liked it so much I bought the full version along with some amp and effects packs.

I normally connect the output of the iRig 2 directly to the clean channel of my Roland Cube 15XL amp. When the wife is bugged by the music, I just plug in headphones.

Works and sounds great.
