Copyrighting your band name

Hey dose anyone know where you go to get your band name copyrighted? i know you can register at http://bandname.com but thats not copyright is it?

Ridi-do a search for the (library of congress ) and click on the copy Right link you can download the forms you need on your printer....you can do this for your band..or if you have songs just do a little reading and download the correct form pay a small fee..and the copy Right is yours..
