Dave Matthews is a god here, to many young people. Maybe a lesser deity, but no mere mortal. I've never heard anyone criticize his band for being multi-racial. That's pretty much a non-issue here in the states, except within little pockets of extreme ignorance. Some rednecks still look down on multi-racial marriage, but I think even rednecks see no problem with multi-racial rock n/ roll bands.
