(Waving) Hi. I am Diane.

So, here I am a little scared, I pray this is the start.
I need to fix the broken strings that once played in my heart.
They pulled so hard, they splintered and I slowly fell apart.
I lay down on the floor, and gathered up my broken heart.

With each new string or chord I learn, I'm sure that what I feel,
Is music in my heart and soul, and I begin to heal.
I wont give up, no matter what I'm doing this for me.
Its pure and simple therapy, that's born from melody.

So, on that note. ( You know the rest )
Diane

Welcome! XD

I wasn't sure if those were actual lyrics to a song or just your introductory post to be honest lol. But nonetheless it was a great read.

This forum is full of support indeed. I've only been active for a couple of weeks here, and am looking into possibly registering for a membership. I'm just real spread thin now.

Music is indeed healing and uplifting. Practice sessions throughout the week can really boost your spirits; they do mine. Welcome to Guitar Tricks, Diane.

A long time ago we could have been distant neighbors. I got to spend a couple years in North Yorkshire...north of Harrogate and between Ripon and Pateley Bridge.

Have fun!
