I'm old, looking forward to retiring and always loved the guitar....currently playing a Les Paul and having a blast! So....I guess I consider myself a newbie with some experience, fooled around with guitars since I was around 12.....I'm almost 51 now. Someday I'll actually think I sound ok....for now, here's to working towards that goal!
back at it...
Well, after some brief difficulties signing in (my fault, computer idiot) and a couple of great guys helping me figure it out from the "help" desk (thanks guys!) I'm in! I have looked at the free site on/off for a while and finally signed up for full access.......I'm pleasantly surprised at the content and am back to learning new stuff. I had to stop lessons with my teacher due to severe time constraints from my current schedule and this site appears to be a great alternative.

Thanks compart1 and GTStaff for the welcome. I'm finding a renewed spark has emerged.... my work schedule just may have to experience some sick time usage, I have 1800 hours unused on the books! I think I have a fever! hahaha.....shhhhh, it's our secret!

Haha, wow. That's enough time to learn the guitar for sure.
