Just to clarify: You're referring to using a thumb pick + fingers, correct?

Go in this order:

1. Thumb
2. Ring Finger
3. Middle Finger

And then try a simple arpeggio, like this:

E|-----------
B|-----3-----
G|--------0--
D|-----------
A|-----------
E|--3--------

From there, just keep running through patterns like that, with your fingers in that order. Thumb - Ring - Middle

That's what I've found to be the most efficient and effective.

Isn't that called finger picking? I thought Hybrid Picking was flat picking with your thumb and pointer finger and at the same time using your other fingers to pluck along with the flat pick. Joe Bonomassa uses this style

Captcha is a total pain in the........
