Sum41 are posers. I can assure you there is NO tapping involved whatso ever in any of their songs. No matter what that dude does in those videoclips. I've read somewhere they were on a concert and that singer said 'Do you like Heavy metaaaal' and I thought they were a punkrock band ? But ofcourse that's just my opinion. If that song helps you to play some cool 'REAL' tappinglicks be my guest. I'm surely not gonna discourage you then ! But if you're going like: 'I wanna learn guitar to play just like Sum41', then you have my weldeserved middlefinger and my boot up your arse :)

Check out Randy Rhoads on tapping.....before anyone tells me he's not the most advanced either he's just the player who got me started and he's a bit more adventurous than Sum 41.

J_E_S_S_E_NZ,

I play it excactly as fast as its supposed to be played in both cases. And like I've bin saying, and what Gulder just said, theres no tapping in the solo. I'v read the music so I know Im right. Thats how I learned the song! Anyway, like I said, whatevers easyest for you. Besides, tapping is flashyer.
And God said, 'Let there be rock!'
-And it was good
