Stones Marathon
Quite the Stones marathon, (to get me through the Canadian winter). Guess you've been busy.

Yes indeed! Plenty of great stuff to dig into.
Where in Canada are you? Calgary is my hometown. Don't miss those winters haha.

Hey Mike, funny I had the impression you may have been from Canada. I'm in Ottawa now for some time, but grew up in Toronto. Be great to see some old Max Webster. Triumph, or April Wine stuff, but probably not big on the request lists though.
I could do without winter also, but at least seem to get more practice and recording done over the winter.
Cheers,

Ha! Nice! Those bands were such a huge part of my childhood - would love to do some ... stay warm this winter!

Mike,
Huge thanks for the Stones marathon, smokinjon has already said it, but this is the best ticket to liven up the winter months.
Even better, with open G, open E, open D tunings as well as standard to contend with, it looks like I've got justification to add at least 2 more guitars!
At least, that's the story I'm sticking to!
Cheers,
Chris

Wow, I'll be busy learning some stones songs now!
Speaking of classic Canadian songs, how about Go for a Soda?

Hey Mike
It looks to me like you're prepping for Keith to die so you can step right into his shoes. Forget it, if he aint dead by now, I don't see it happening but it sure would be nice knowing you have the talent to do so should it happen. I was thrilled when I saw all of those oldies posted and even more thrilled at the way you did them justice. Keep up the great work, it really is appreciated. By the way, you forgot Angie, one of my favorite acoustic songs; maybe next time. Thanks for all you do. By the way, I saw that you were from Canada; how is it you picked up a guitar and not a hockey stick. I'm glad you found the guitar.

Hey Denny, thanks so much for the compliments! It was an absolute blast to be able to dig in and teach these classic songs. Be sure and head over to the Song Request Forum and put Angie in there as well.
Cheers!
