HI my name is nathan. Beginner guitar player. I'm going through the 1st fundamental tutorial. I still have alot to learn but I know alot more since joining this site! I do have a question, maybe it should go in another forum. I'm learning the basic major and minor chords. When I open the chord finder in the toolbox some don't look the same. B minor for example, it shows an extra 1 on the second string from the top in red. In the tutorial it doesn't have that? Maybe it's just part of the theory that I haven't touched on yet. Anyway glad to be here and looking forward to getting better!

Welcome to the Guitar Tricks..
The one stands for number one (1) index finger.
String 1 thru 5 are barred with the index finger and the 2,3 & 4 string sounding their respect frets..
