Took lessons 45 years ago...never got that far - yes I learned the chords well but my rhythm and strumming were never really that exciting...
So i gave up.
Now deciding to try again at 59 years old - I went for a lefty guitar to give myself a real shot at learning to play.
Think about it...rightys play right handed...leftys should play left handed.
They talk about clapping and the dominant hand should be the strumming hand cause that holds the beat...
Picked up a new semi hollow electric Ibanez AM93L for $600 from a major online shop...there were a few choices in the under $700 price range.
Waiting for delivery as they were OOS...but the guitar is available elsewhere.
