My *current* favourite ,sounds like a late 50's "PAF" to me, If SD is working to Seth's specs you won't get much closer..although Gibson have the new "Burstbucker",but i find that too hyped a concept.

If you can get to play some CS Gibsons (?) you'll get an idea of the tone, although the scale and wood of the Tele will alter this somewhat.
