It would be nice if there were a way to preview songs in the song lists. Such as clicking on an icon to hear a bit of a song without having to click through to the tutorial, begin it, etc. Or worse, having to find a song on youtube and then sit through the inevitable 15 second un-skippable ad.

I'm not a music geek (I don't mean that in a bad way), and know there are plenty of great songs out there that I wouldn't recognize by name or artist. Right now it's labor intensive for me to go through the song lists and find the songs I like.

Thanks.

I just found the song you posted in the request forum in had it playing in 30 seconds.. If you take any song title you see, hold down the left mouse button and highlight it.. Hold your cursor over highlighted text and right click it.. I use google search, so I don't know it this works with all search engines..
I hope this works for you..
Guitar Tricks new format maybe have something to do this quicker. If so I need to learn about it also..

It takes two clicks to get one of GT's songs up and running; one click on the title which takes you to the song tutorial intro page and, another click on your lesson of choice listed in the Contents, i.e., full performance or single guitar. Two clicks...and you can see and hear how GT teaches the song (and hear GT's accompaning vocals). That doesn't seem labor intensive. YMMV. :)

As for YouTube, they will soon have a subscription feature that will allow one to play the music videos without advertisements. I'm part of their beta testing right now and it's a great feature. Unfortunately...

It's gonna cost...about eight bucks a month and that is way too much for me to spend for ad-free vids. Here too, YMMV. :D

Good morning John.. When you click on the song lesson and than the performance does it still record/mark in your lesson progress.
