Hey Everybody,

My wife packed away my gear in preparation for a party, and now I can't find my Snark tuner. I tried to use my old Korg tuner, but it can be hard to read. I've been intrigued by the Polytune from TC Electronics, so I took a chance with the version on iPhone. They claim that it is a 1 to 1 port of their pedal, and it only cost $4.99 (I've never paid for an app before.)

It is pretty cool, but I have to turn the amp up pretty loud for it to work. My iPhone mic doesn't work very well.

I see that they have a clip-on version coming this month for about $50.

I'd love to hear from other Polytune users. Is this a must have tuner?

Thanks,

Thanks for the info. I personally don't have any experience with this particular app, otherwise I'd give my two cents.

Sounds like a decent product though from what you've described.

Anyone else?

I went full scale and bought both the Polytune 2 pedal and the Polytune Clip. I like these tuners because they are are so bright and easy to read.
