If you mean that you have trouble picking single notes on those strings, I suspect that you are positioning your hand in a way that forces you to bend your wrist at an awkward angle in order to reach those strings. You should not have to bend your wrist at all to position your pick hand. Position your pick hand by changing the angle of your arm at your elbow and shoulder. The pick action should be achieved by rotating your fore-arm, not by bending your wrist.

I may not have explained this well. Its the sort of thing that is a lot easier to demonstrate than to describe. If it doesn't make sense to you, post again and I'll see if I can really confuse you. ;)

How old are you?
your english sux dude, learn to compose sentences, i cant (and i probably speak for lots of people) understand what your asking..

you cant pick the bottom strings (theyre called bottom strings, not top strings, lower frequency - lower strings, or something like that), why not?

acoustic guitars are also harder to learn to play on, because you have to lean on, or lean over, the dimensions of them..

all "air guitarists" that dont play guitar, always use their wrist to strum the strings, so im wondering, how long have you been playing guitar for?

the direction you point your pick, in relation to the strings also may be tricky, i know for me, straight down picking, i hold the pick point more towards the floor, by about 20-30 degrees from right angle to the guitar, and for alternate, i hold it at right angle to guitar/strings for lower strings. for higher strings, i always point pick towards floor those degrees
enough ranting...

explain again your problem please, and then we can help you

bad moon ya sure have a way with kind words huh ? well hey, my advice would be to practice what troubles you. if ya do it every day you'll get better every day. if the big strings ( low strings ) are difficult for you then you should practice plucking them. your teacher is right. time is your friend if you use it to your advantage. practice. then practice some more :)

If all that fails, try a lighter gauge of strings or a thicker pick, or BOTH! I use a 9 gauge set of strings and a 3mm dunlop pick with a pointed tip(stubby). Playing on the lower strings is a breeze.
