So I decided to do Guitar Tricks along with another program I am working called Blues Unleashed. This was the first recording I did for the 1st lesson in that program....simple Blues in G.

Leo - sounds great man. Can't go wrong with the 12-bar blues.

Your chords are coming out nice and clean and you're keeping time perfectly. Not much to complain about there.

What effects are you using? It sounds like there's a chorus or some other kind of modulation.

There is a touch of chorus and reverb from the built in effects on the amp, but thats it...

Sounds great!!! Your timing is excellent and your strumming consistency is is great too. How long have you been playing?

My suggestion would be to keep playing this and listen for things you could do to spice it up a bit, in terms of dynamics and strumming pattern. What do you hear in your head that could spice it up a bit? What do YOU think of your recording and how do YOU think it could sound better. See if you can translate what you are hearing in your head to the guitar.

You have a fantastic foundation to work from. Great timing is 90% of the battle!

Maggior- Ive been noodling with the guitar for about 6 years total over the past 25! Just recently picked it up again and started taking it seriously.

As for the piece, that is the plan....this was the first lesson and just wanted to keep it true to the lesson. Thanks for the compliments and words of encouragement.
