I have been playing guitar for almost 40 years, although I have gone through rather lengthy periods where I didn't play at all. I noticed that times I played the most was when I was in a Band, I love playing with others and always made sure I knew my parts cold.
However, my job requires that I travel often. Sometimes for several weeks at a time, which makes it difficult to join a Band, or even make use of an instructor.
I have learned hundreds of songs over the years, but if I don't play them often, I forget them. Probably, because I never understood them from a music theory standpoint.
So I am re-dedicating myself to learning the guitar again, I just started the Rock Level 1 course from the Core Learning system, which is what drew me to Guitar Tricks.
I wish all of you the best of luck in your personal Guitar journey as well,
Yours,
TAT
