Drop B Tuning lesson?

I didnt see a lesson here on drop B tuning. Anyone know where I can get help on tips and tricks on drop b tuning?

To my knowledge when people play with a low B string, they do it with a 7 string guitar & the bottom string is a B string (below the low E).
