It is intermitant, meaning it works and then out of the blue it doesn't. I have re-installed it a few times and made sure the bridge is flat and square, the problem seems to be a short at the end of the transducer strip where it connects to the lead to the end pin jack, if I wiggle that it crackles like h.e. double hockey stick. Durring installation I took extra care with the unit(not bending it too much), and being a tradesman electronics tech. the soldering I performed is above industry standards....
