I am from Texas, but have been living in Saudi for the past 1 1/2 years. I love listening to music, especially when it is live. Listening to the acoustic guitar playing outlaw Texas Country is my favorite past time when needing to unwind. I have been wanting to learn to play a acoustic for 20+ years, but never put the effort out, just dreamed about how cool it would be......

My first goal is to learn enough to be able to play along or even try hands at singing a few Willie, David Allen Cole or Haggard outside around a campfire to my drunk camping friends. I love listening to music around the campfire or at gathers and I want to join in....I can see myself playing under a tree at Luchenbach Texas one day!

Living abroad gives me more time on my hands, since I have no yard work or chores, so it is a perfect opportunity to get started on something I has always dreamed about.

I am a total beginner, just know the songs that I would love to play in the future. I bought a Fender T-Bucket and Acoustic Amp recently, not knowing nothing about purchasing a guitar. But it sure is pretty.....
