What does this circle around the chord mean?

Looks like the circle is meant to indicate that it is a keyboard part arranged for guitar. So, there isn't an actual guitar playing that part on the original recording, it's a keyboard. But they've written the chord (notes) that the keyboard plays for convenince as a guitar chord.
