So along with playing guitar to learn I also spend a lot of time watching and listening.

When I bend a string/note i tend to always use only the finger I have on that specific note to bend.

A few times after watching other people play on videos I've seen that most people use 2-3 fingers to bend.

There's obviously more than one way to go about doing something on a guitar, but is there a flaw in my technique here? Should I go back and retrain myself to be using multiple fingers most of the time when bending?

Certain bends are fine to do with your index finger. Or with whatever finger is convenient. But quite often the best way to maintain control & hit the target pitch is to use more than one finger for strength & leverage.

Check out these lessons on how to learn & improve this technique.

Lessons on point

I'll have to adjust my style a bit and make use of more of my fingers for it. Thanks again!

Edit:
